As a Professional Financial Consultant, I am committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal information for clients and prospective clients. The protection of personal information of clients and prospective clients is considered the foundation of trust and sound business practice. 

 

Privacy Policy

How and why personal information is obtained

  • Personal information is voluntarily collected from clients or prospective clients seeking financial consulting. Personal information may include name, address, social security number(s), birthdate(s), assets and income in addition to any other information essential to financial consulting of clients and prospective clients. 

  • Personal information provided will be used solely to facilitate financial consulting with clients and prospective clients.  

 

Security

  • Personal information provided is protected by administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. The intent of safeguards are to appropriately protect against accidental or unlawful disclosure, misuse, and any other unlawful processing of personal information in my possession. Security measures such as firewalls exist to protect against network vulnerabilities. 

  • Personal information is not shared or sold. 

 

How personal information is retained

  • Personal information of clients is retained in accordance with the internal revenue code statute of limitations which varies for each individual taxpayer (3 years minimum).

  • Clients’ personal information is securely stored electronically. 

  • Prospective clients’ personal information is permanently deleted 30 days after financial consultation.

 

Your rights 

  • You have the right to restrict or object processing of your personal information. 

  • You have the right to opt out of receiving information about financial consulting at any time.

  • You have the right to request return of personal information collected. 

  • You have the right to express any concern about the use of personal information.

 

Notice of Changes

  • The privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in technology, law, business operations, or any other reason determined necessary or appropriate.  If material changes are made to the way personal information is processed, a notice of the changes will be posted on the site.  Notification will also be directly communicated to clients and current prospective clients.
